Safety
Staying safe when you share a ride
Practical checks before and during a shared ride, and what to do when something feels wrong.
Before the trip
Speak to the other person on WhatsApp first. A short call tells you more than any profile would.
Check that the car matches what the listing says — the make, model and year are on every listing for exactly this reason. If the car that arrives is not the car described, you do not have to get in.
Share the trip with someone you trust: the pickup time, the route, the car, and the other person’s WhatsApp number.
During the trip
Sit where you are comfortable. Keep your phone charged and reachable.
You can end the trip at any point and make your own way. No agreement made through Pool obliges you to stay in a car you do not want to be in.
What NaqlGo checks, and what it does not
We review every listing before it goes live: the route, the schedule, the car and whether the listing looks genuine. That review is about the listing, not the person.
We do not verify driving licences, insurance, vehicle fitness or criminal records, and we do not meet the people who publish listings. Treat a Pool ride the way you would treat any arrangement with someone you have not met.
Reporting a listing or a person
Every ride page has a Report this listing link that opens WhatsApp to our team with the listing reference attached. Tell us what happened. We can remove a listing quickly, and we do.
If you are in immediate danger, contact the police on 15 first. Report to us afterwards.
Common questions
- Does NaqlGo verify carpool drivers?
- No. NaqlGo reviews each listing before it appears, but does not verify driving licences, insurance or the identity of the person driving. Check the car matches the listing and share your trip details with someone you trust.
- How do I report a problem with a NaqlGo Pool ride?
- Use the Report this listing link on the ride page. It opens WhatsApp to our team with the listing reference included. In an emergency, contact the police on 15 first.
